Thankful Thursday

This week's Thankful Thursday post is a little easier for me that last week's was. Despite feeling a bit down, it has been a better week, and we have a great weekend ahead!

First, I am thankful that we got some more cloth diapers in the mail yesterday!!! I guess I sound nuts, but I am absolutely in love with cloth diapering, I even have a blog 100% devoted to it, and this newest package means that we can cloth diaper all day long every other day. (One day of cloth diapering then one day of sposies while I wash and line dry the cloth diapers.) Hopefully I'll be cloth diapering 100% of the time before long!

I'm thankful for the 4 day weekend coming up!!! I happen to love the 4th of July. First off, fireworks rock! Secondly, I have many men in my life who have proudly served our country and who have taught me an amazing respect for the freedoms I have. It seems to be something that is lacking in this country lately. People seem to think they are entitled to all the freedoms we have, completely forgetting that freedom isn't free. It's something many people could stand to remember every once in awhile. (This is a whole different topic of course...Perhaps one I will explore in a Soapbox Edition soon.)

I'm thankful that I'll be going to see Eclipse with the hubby and Ivy tomorrow afternoon. I've heard nothing but good things about it, and getting to go with two of my favorite people to be with doesn't hurt either. As always, I hate leaving Parker behind, even when I know he is going to have a great time with his Mimi and "big-brother", Trenton. (Ivy's mother and son) I am not one of those people who ache to have my time away from my Bubba Bear. I'm not saying that I don't enjoy some adult time, but there is always a part of me that feels uneasy when he's not close by. Of course, I am sure that Edward Cullen will help to take some of that anxiety away...;0)

As always, I am thankful for my amazing husband and wonderful son! They make my every day a better one than it would have been without them. I am thankful for my friends and family, and I am thankful for the life I get to live because of my husband and the sacrifices he makes for God, family and country.

YAY for more cloth diapers! (I had all mine come in...but then I let someone borrow them because her baby had a bad diaper rash. Hopefully I get them back next week.) Are you planning on using the dryer for winter-time?

Oh & I am the same way about leaving my kids. I have more of a desire to stay home with them - then to go out for free time. Don't get me wrong... it would be nice once in a while to get out though :)

Sorry I didn't get over here yesterday!

Happy 4th of July four day weekend!! The forth rocks, and so do fireworks :) we have to wait until the weekend after the 4th for our fireworks, two towns take turns with their celebration...it is like we get 2 4th of Julys :)

I have never read any of the Twilight books or seen any of the movies, can you believe it! Not because I don't want to, I hear they are awesome, I just never seem to have time to read or go to the movies. I told myself I would read the books before I see the movies, and that is not working out so well. Ah well, they will all be there waiting for me. I hope you have a great time! And you will be back with your Bubba Bear before you know it.

I need to order more cloth diapers, baby girl is almost a year and I only have 2 that still fit her, and 1 of them was supposed to be for her big brother, lol.

Thanks for joining me and Thankful Thursdays this week!
